I’ve shed. I’ve stripped things back. And now I’m have birthed something new. Autumn being the perfect time for transition 🍁🍂 🤍
For years, many of you knew me as Sparklefairy -my Dubai and long-term followers will definitely remember those days! ✨ Then, for the next 15 years, I became The Crystal Expert.
Both were important chapters of my life, but I’ve reached a point where I don’t feel the need for another title or identity.
I just want to show up as me.
And actually, this change goes much deeper than a rebrand.
For years now, I’ve been craving space.
Space in my head.
Space in my home.
Space in my diary.
Space in my work.
Space to be present with the people I love.
And space for Connection / Source / God.
I’m craving a simpler life so desperately and have done for some time. I no longer want to create an empire I want to create a community.
I was diagnosed with ADHD around 18 years ago, ( before it was even a thing 😅 ) and more recently with ME, after around five years of an internal battle trying to understand why my mind wanted to do ALL THE THINGS while my body increasingly had other ideas. 😅
Try living with those two combined! 🤯
I don’t say that from a place of victimhood. If anything, they’ve forced me to understand myself better. And in many ways helped me move forward!
I’ve realised I can’t keep measuring a good or productive life by how much I can fit into it. 😶🌫️
And maybe I don’t actually want to anymore.
Fewer tasks. Fewer chores. Fewer things I should be doing. Fewer possessions, commitments and expectations competing for my attention.
And I’m beginning to apply that everywhere , personally, at home and in my work.
Less noise. More meaning.
That has naturally made me look at my work differently too. And those that know me , know that I also have another side of my work - my partner and i own a Beauty Spa in Somerset, for 10 years which takes up a good portion of my time including regular commutes
❤️ The Laila Collective is where I am right now - i am still here to help and guide. I’ll still offer my services and healing work, share what I’ve learned over nearly three decades of working with people, and there will absolutely still be beautiful crystals. 💎 🔮 But I’m removing some of the ego and identity I had attached to what I did, while also developing a very different understanding of healing and suffering.
I no longer believe every uncomfortable emotion or difficult season needs to be “fixed”.
Sometimes life hurts. Sometimes we suffer. Sometimes the answer isn’t another thing to do, another thing to heal or another version of ourselves to become. Sometimes perhaps we need less, not more.
So rather than building another big brand, I’m creating somewhere all the different parts of my life and work can sit together, simply and authentically.
