A Little More About me

Laila’s Journey: A Life of Healing, Business & Spiritual Exploration.

Originally from Yorkshire, Laila left the UK at just 20 years old, beginning a journey that would take her across the Middle East. Over the years she lived in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Dubai, where she built a successful career, raised her three daughters, and developed a deep passion for healing and wellbeing.

Laila’s background spans the Beauty and Wellbeing industry, managing luxury five-star salons, spas, and nail bars, while also working as a Business Development Manager on high-profile projects across the Middle East region. Alongside this, she founded her own business, Sparklefairy, offering crystals, healing jewellery, energy work, and wellbeing support. At just 21 years old, an Irish woman told Laila she possessed a natural gift for crystal knowledge and would one day become known as a “Crystal Expert.”

Although naturally intuitive, Laila also pursued formal qualifications, gaining her VTCT Crystal Therapy certification to ensure a professional and ethical standard of practice. Over time, her healing work expanded internationally. While continuing to run salons and spas, she developed a loyal client base seeking support for anxiety, bereavement, addiction, emotional overwhelm, confidence, and life direction. Her work blends coaching, healing, mindset support, and spiritual guidance. While living in Dubai, Laila became highly sought after for readings, healings, and life coaching sessions, often working long days with clients from all walks of life. She travelled to hotels, private homes, and even hospital bedsides, supporting people through difficult periods in their lives. Some clients travelled internationally purely to work with her. After 16 years in the Middle East, Laila returned to the UK, initially settling near Stonehenge before realising how deeply she missed her northern roots.

During this time, she developed a profound connection with Glastonbury, often visiting weekly. Glastonbury, often referred to as the “heart chakra of the Earth,” is known worldwide as a place of pilgrimage, mysticism, and spiritual significance. Rich in legends surrounding Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdalene, and the Sacred Feminine, it became a place Laila considers her spiritual home.

Although now based back in Yorkshire, she still visits regularly as part of her and her partner’s work commute and spiritual practice. Returning north, Laila founded Laila222, a wellbeing and spiritual lifestyle brand offering crystal shopping, healing therapies, workshops, women’s circles, meditation sessions, and one-to-one coaching both in person and online. Alongside this, Laila also co-owns a spa in Somerset with her partner, traveling between locations to oversee treatments, operations, and long-standing client relationships while managing various small businesses around the UK. Laila’s work has also been shaped by profound personal loss.

She has experienced the bereavement of close loved ones, including her best friend, an ex-partner, and most recently her mother in June 2022 . Several of these losses were connected to addiction and alcohol abuse, experiences which deeply influenced her work supporting others through grief and emotional healing. Although Laila herself is not in recovery, she chose to stop drinking over 22 years ago and now supports many individuals struggling with addiction, emotional dependency, and destructive patterns.

Her work is designed to complement traditional recovery pathways, offering emotional and spiritual support alongside practical guidance. Laila follows a vegan lifestyle and has devoted much of her spiritual focus to the Magdalene Path, Sacred Feminine teachings, Mother Mary, and contemplative spirituality. She enjoys studying comparative religion and philosophy, often drawing from Kadampa Buddhism, ancient Christianity, mysticism, and Catholicism within her coaching approach. Her long-term dream is to become a theologian.

Laila is also known within spiritual communities for her collaborations and connections. She is a supporter of Russell Brand, whose conversations around spirituality and recovery resonate with her deeply. Over the years, he has publicly shared and appreciated her crystals online. She has also collaborated with Ian Lawman from Ghost Chasers on exclusive spiritual product ranges and projects. Laila is currently writing her first book, due for release in 2027 , exploring healing, spirituality, personal transformation, and the lessons gathered throughout her life journey.

She has also recently launched Letter Box Blessings, a family-run project where her daughters help create and pack comforting spiritual gifts, crystals, and wellbeing boxes designed to bring encouragement and kindness to others.

My Spiritual Journey by Laila

For over 28 years, I have supported people through some of life’s most challenging experiences, including grief, addiction recovery, emotional wellbeing, personal growth, major life transitions, and spiritual exploration.

My work has always been centred around helping people navigate difficult times with ♡ compassion, practical support, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Over the years, I have worked with individuals from many different backgrounds, helping them reconnect with their inner strength, find meaning during periods of change, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

I believe that genuine transformation comes not simply through knowledge, but through ♡ reflection, lived experience, self-awareness, compassion, and the willingness to grow. While I draw upon a wide range of therapeutic, coaching, wellbeing, and spiritual approaches, my focus has always remained the same: helping people find hope, healing, purpose, and a deeper connection to themselves and the world around them.

My own spiritual journey began in 1999 but deepened following the passing of my mother, a time that led me into a period of reflection, questioning, and personal transformation For much of my life, anything that referenced God, Jesus, or traditional religion would have pushed me away. At that stage of my journey, it simply didn’t resonate with me. Over time, however, something began to change.

Through grief, life experience, and a growing desire for deeper meaning, I found myself drawn towards ancient Christianity, Orthodox and Catholic spirituality, the lives of the saints, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, prayer, and the rich symbolism woven throughout these traditions.

Alongside this, I spent many years exploring a wide range of spiritual, therapeutic, and ♡ personal development practices. While many offered valuable insights and tools, I gradually found myself longing for something deeper than techniques alone. I became increasingly interested in the timeless questions of faith, meaning, how we understand suffering, transformation, and our relationship with Source / God.

Today, I continue to explore ancient Orthodox Christianity whilst also attending my local ♡ Church of England church. I am currently undertaking Orthodox catechism studies to deepen my understanding of the early Christian faith. What draws me most is the depth, wisdom, contemplation, and emphasis on inner transformation found within these ancient traditions.

While no single label fully defines me, my approach is rooted in kindness, curiosity, ♡ personal responsibility, and respect for each individual’s unique path. I hold a deep appreciation for Christian spirituality whilst remaining open to the wisdom that can be found across many traditions.

The Laila Collective was created as a space where therapeutic support, spirituality, reflection, faith, symbolism, and personal growth can exist side by side in a gentle and respectful way. My intention is never to tell people what to believe, but to offer support, guidance, and a safe space for exploration, healing, and self-discovery.

So much love, Laila x
